- PayPal says "This invoice has already been paid. For more information,
please contact the merchant."
- This is likely to occur if you accidentally clicked a buy-now button that
you have clicked before. This is to help ensure that you don't buy the same
thing twice by accident (perhaps because of using the back button after waiting
for a page refresh within the PayPal site). If you want to try again from
the 'Gather Subscription Data' page, refresh that page and then carry on.
- Paypal does not confirm this purchase
- If this occurs on the Purchase completion page as soon as you come back
from PayPal, then there was some problem with the purchase. Perhaps try again,
or log on to PayPal and see what happened to the transaction. If, however,
you have refreshed this page too many times, then PayPal will stop talking
to us about this transaction. This is not an error, but a deliberate security
policy.
- Why should I validate my phone?
- We ask you to validate your phone so that we can be certain that we deliver
you purchases to the correct phone. It is so easy to make an error typing
in your number, that this step makes life easier in the long run. Our servers
will not deliver to phones that have not been validated.
- How do I validate my phone?
- After you have logged in, the menu at the bottom of the page will have
'my_earthoracles' as one of it's items. Click that.
this shows a page which will show all of the information that we have about
you. At the start, this will only be the username that you chose. You can
enter your names and your phone number. Our server will have to ask you
your password to make sure that it is you and not someone, or a 'bot, messing
around. If you have entered a good 'phone number, and it is yours, you will
receive and text message. This will ask you to visit a picture that our server
generates. This should fill the screen of your phone and you should be able
to read the text as the top, and clearly see the number at the bottom. It
is the number at the bottom that you enter as the validation code on the my_earthoracles
page.
- What if I change my phone number?
- Just log in and go to the my_earthoracles page and then update you details.
You will be sent a validation text again and you simply follow the procedure
'How do I validate my phone?'
- What if my phone validation text does not arrive?
- Under some circumstances, our server may have a problem talking to your
phone. If you have checked that the number that you have entered is correct,
and that your phone and network are OK, then you can get our server to send
you another SMS by pressing the button called 'Send another phone validation
message'. This will cause it to send you another text message.
